The Fargo was primarily
built on the 850 model with single circuit
brakes and drums all round, mostly the roof elevated
at one end only giving it a wedged look, next
came the Fiesta based on both the 850t and the
900t, this model had a vertical elevating roof
and a boot extension. The next two fiat family
members were the Amigo and the Amigo XLS
, based on the 900T ,
again with a full set of drum brakes, although
these model were fitted with a dual circuit
system, the main difference between these two models
was the roof the Amigo having two
hammocks in the roof and the XLS having two
single wooden bunks and a Childs bed across the
cab effectively making it a five berth camper. |

Next came the Caravelle
based on the 900E series, again with the spacemaker roof but this time with a
very generous double wooden bed in the roof, and a built in 3 way fridge,
this was also one of the first models to be fitted with disc brakes at the
front and a more efficient drum system at the rear. T he Pandora was the last
production model with its large aluminium fold out elevating roof (see
picture below) containing a large double or two good sized single beds, a
fridge, mains electric and rock and roll seats |
